72% A*-C with English and Maths!
Two sets of twins at Swakeleys School for Girls scoop 31 A* grades between them!
Once again, English results were very strong with 89% of the girls achieving a C grade or above. Headteacher, Sue Pryor said: “We are delighted with these results which reflect the hard work of students and staff. For the third year running, more than 20% of the girls achieved more than 5A*/A grades and 42% secured the prestigious English Baccalaureate qualification which requires them to achieve C grade or above in English, Maths, Science, a Modern Foreign Language and History or Geography”.
Some individual successes at the highest A*/A grade include:
Sophie Bloodworth – 11A*, 1A and Alice Bloodworth – 6A*, 6A
Jessica Jablonski – 9A*, 3A and Lauren Jablonski – 5A*, 7A
Tanisha Mann – 9A*, 3A
Hosna Sherazi – 8A*, 4A
Priyanka Trivedi – 8A*, 4A

6thform@Swakeleys have achieved 100 % pass at Alevel for the fifth year running!
Year 13 students achieved 56% A*/B and 86% A*/C grades.
Headteacher, Sue Pryor said: “We are extremely proud of the achievements of all of our students. Top achievers were our Head Boy, Raymond Parkinson who got A*, A*, A, A in Biology, Chemistry, Economics and Maths and our Head Girl, Holly Moore who secured A*, A*, A, A, B grades in Biology, Extended Project, RE, Geography and Chemistry. Raymond is off to study Economics at University and Holly to study Environmental Science.
Also achieving top grades was Maisie Wythe who got A, A, A in English Lang and Lit, French and Japanese! Maise is taking a gap year to study Japanese Culture”. Vocational results were also outstanding with four students achieving triple A*. They are: Aqssa Afzal and Jennifer Finn (Health and Social Care) along with Courtney Buchan and Annie Hewitt (Sport). Annie has got a full scholarship to Alabama University to play football in the USA.
